ULYSSES recommended reading for children.

The Royal Society of Literature Magazine has asked prominent children's authors which ten books children should read before they leave school. UK's poet laureate, Andrew Motion, believes that ULYSSES should be one of them.

In which case I suspect they'd never be leaving school

That's why children keep going back for one degree after the other, avoiding gainful employment and, in general, costing their parents way more than they ever bargained for past the four-year college stage.

The reason we've so many debt-ridden, overeducated street bums, paging mightily through its depths with one hand, while tilting back the fortified wine with the other.

And I have 4 kids to put through boarding high school and college and...

I hope the Indonesian side of them comes forth later, the sense of cultural responsibility to take care of aged parents
